Kat is first introduced as Ollie's new girlfirend, which starts a big rivalry between her and Martha Fitzgerald, Ollie's closest friend. When Kat was troubled that Ollie wasn't opening up about his feelings to her, she asked Rufus to help. Eventually, she and Rufus became a couple and she eventually decided to dump Ollie.
